Futures are quiet and mixed-to-slightly-green this morning as Wall Street holds its breath for the week's real catalyst: July CPI drops tomorrow morning, with PPI following Thursday. Fed rate-hike odds for September have been whipsawing — down to roughly 42-44% after last Friday's surprisingly weak jobs report, from over 65% a week ago. Add in oil pushing back toward $90/barrel on stalled Iran/Strait of Hormuz talks, and you've got a market trying to figure out whether it's fighting weak growth or sticky inflation. Either way, expect volatility to pick up into Wednesday's print.

On the earnings front, it's a big week for AI infrastructure names — Applied Materials, Cisco, and CoreWeave all report over the next 48 hours.

What's moving: Sea Ltd popped nearly 10% on an earnings beat, and Riot Platforms is riding a broader crypto-miner rally. On the downside, Rocket Lab and Hims & Hers both posted revenue beats overnight but missed on EPS — the market's punishing the bottom-line misses despite strong top-line growth, a pattern worth watching as more earnings roll in this week. On Holding got hit hardest of the bunch on soft guidance. Super Micro reports after today's close (est. EPS $0.88) and is already seeing elevated options activity ahead of the print.

🧠 Guess the Chart

Today's clue: This mega-cap tech name just crossed the $500 threshold for the first time, sitting roughly 10% above where it started the year. It's up over 10% in the past month alone on strength in its cloud and AI infrastructure segments, and RSI readings above 79 suggest the rally still has momentum behind it — though that's also flashing "stretched" on the daily chart.

✍️ Trader's Note

The theme this week isn't really about any single stock — it's about revenue beats not being enough anymore. RKLB, HIMS, and a handful of others all grew the top line double digits year-over-year and still got sold off hard, because the bottom line didn't match up. That's a market that's gotten pickier after a strong run to record highs, and it's worth keeping in mind heading into CPI tomorrow: if inflation surprises to the upside, don't expect "it wasn't that bad" to be good enough for buyers either.

On the semis side, keep an eye on the ORB (opening range breakout) names — ASML, KLAC, and LSCC are all showing early strength ahead of AMAT's print Thursday, which could set the tone for the whole group into the back half of the week.
